Welcome Wednesdays

To support families as they enjoy the summer:  Community of Grace will take a break from Wednesday evening educational activities.  Wednesday evenings will resume in August!!

Choir & Band Rehearsals

Now is a great time to join the Choir or Band!  Come share your gifts at Community of Grace!!

Each Wednesday in June the Choir will rehearse from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm and the Band will rehearse from 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm. 

We will take the month of July off for summer break! 

  Prayer Team

The Prayer Team will meet Wednesdays, June 2, June 16, and July 7 at 11:00am in the sanctuary for group sharing and a guided meditation.

Come join the Prayer Team on Wednesdays, June 30 and July 28 at 9:30am at the Main Street Diner in Snellville for great food and wonderful fellowship. 

 Adult Singles Group

Singles Group will meet for Fellowship during the summer instead of Bible Study.  Join them June 7, 2010 and July 12, 2010.  Please contact Jeanne Bennett at 770-682-7505 for more details.

 God N Games

CoG Coffee Hour

June 26, 2010 at 7:00 pm

Join us in the Sanctuary on June 26, 2010 at 7:00 pm for an evening of Musical entertainment with songs you loved in the "good ole days."  Enjoy an evening with Uwe and Mark as they entertain us with their wonderful musical talent.  Invite your family, friends and neighbors for a fun filled evening at the "Coffee House."  Bring a snack to share, coffee will be provided.

 Vacation Bible School "Caring for God's Creation"

July 19 - 23, 2010

9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Ages 3 - grade 5

Register your child, friends and neighbors today!  Click here to view a pfd file to print and return to the church.  Registration forms are also located in the Narthex.

Volunteers are still needed to make this event successful.  Stephanie Fraser will lead a VBS meeting for volunteers on June 13, 2010 at 11:45 am in the Fellowship Hall.

VBS Missions

You can help our community during VBS this year!  Congregation can help by donating school book-bags (no wheels please) and the VBS kids can help by donating specific school supplies each day during VBS.  Please place your book-bag donations in the bin located in the Narthex.

Also, during VBS we will be collecting boxes of Mac-N-Cheese for the Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative and display them on our Mt. Kilimanjaro volcano.

VBS Celebration

Join us for a special VBS celebration service in the sanctuary on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 7:00 pm.  VBS children will be performing some of the songs and skits for family and friends.  Immediately following the service, all are welcome to celebrate with an Ice Cream (and all the toppings!) in the Fellowship Hall.

Middle School & High School Lock-In

July 23 - 24, 2010

8:00 pm - 8:00 am

If you are in grades 6 - 12, you are welcome to attend the Middle School & High School Lock-in!  We will have a variety of activities and games all night... YES.. ALL NIGHT!!  Fill out the permission slip and medical form and return no later than Sunday, July 18th!

Please bring a sleeping bag, your Bible, and snacks to share.  Join us for the VBS celebration and Ice Cream Social Friday evening at 7:00 pm.  Lock-in will start immediatley following!
