One of the Six Marks of Discipleship is to Serve.  Serving both at Community of Grace and in the community is not the path to discipleship, but a result of being a disciple.  "The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve."  Matthew 20:28

 

Non-Profit Community Groups

Community of Grace opens our doors for local community groups to hold monthly meetings, such as Girl Scouts and Boy Scout troops.  If your community group is looking for a meeting facility, please contact the church office.

 

Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry

Coop logoThe Co-op ministry provides food and utility assistance for people with emergency short-term needs.  Community of Grace participates in the food barrel program as well as provides financial donations to the Co-op.  The Co-op is supported by local churches, businesses, and individuals.

The Co-op is located on the Community of Grace Church campus located at 1200 Athens Highway, Grayson, GA.  The hours of operation are Monday (10am to 2pm), Thursday (3pm to 7pm) and Friday (10am to 2pm.)

Community of Grace participates with Thrivent Builds on local Habitat for Humanity homes.  Our congregation participates by providing fundraising events for financial support as well as individuals providing their time and talent to work on the home.  If you are interested in participating in a Thrivent Habitat for Humanity home or making a donation please contact the church office.
