WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of American)
As stated in our purpose: As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, We commit ourselves to Grow in faith, Affirm our gifts, Support one another in our callings, Engage in ministry and action, and Promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.
And on a lighter note, we enjoy each others company. Our programs are enlightening and the food is delightful.
We are currently collecting: Pull tabs from: soda cans, soup cans, and pet food cans for the Ronald McDonald House.
Come experience an evening with us on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the Fellowship Hall except in June (Garden Party at the Wyatt’s), July & August for summer break and December (Saturday evening Christmas Dinner.)
All women are welcome to come and bring your insights and ideas.
